Here is a list of the prizes we will be awarding at the conclusion of the Turkey Challenge.

Team Prizes (all members of the team):
1st Place Team
2nd Place Team
3rd Place Team

Individual Prizes:
Highest Scoring Hunter
1st Turkey Ever (1 awarded via random draw)
Gobbler Entry (3 of these awarded via random draw)
Kill a Limit (3 of these awarded via random draw)
1st Multi-Beard Turkey Entered
Longest Beard
Longest Spur
Youngest entrant to kill a turkey
Participation

Some clarification on the prizes just so everyone is on the same page.

Every member who enters a gobbler will be in the running for the "Gobbler Entry" prize. We will award three of them via random draw.

Every member who kills a limit (3 birds killed IN GEORGIA) will be in the running for the "Kill a Limit" prize.

Every member who enters their first ever gobbler (honor system here) killed will be entered into the "1st Turkey Ever" drawing.

"1st Multi-Beard" prize will simply be awarded to the first person to enter a multi-bearded turkey.

Team Prizes and Individual Prizes will be treated seperately. So you CAN win a team prize AND and individual prize. HOWEVER....you can ONLY win one individual prize.

So, for instance, if you win the "Highest Scoring Hunter" prize and you also happen to be in the lead for the "Longest Spur", you will be given the opportunity to choose which prize pack you want and then the guy in second place behind you will be awarded the other.

We are doing this simply so that we can have as many people win prizes as possible in this FREE contest.

Folks, in a tough financial/economic year, we have gotten a TON of generousity from various folks on these boards. Some build calls for a living. Some do it for a hobby. Some build custom knives and some do other things. But they ALL have donated generously. So, please let's give them the recognition they deserve and check out their chosen craft.....perhaps even consider buying something.

Let's have fun

And when you get your donated item, please at the very least let the person who donated it know that you received it.

AND.....I'll add that it would be a very nice gesture to offer to pay the shipping for the prize.
