Anyone else noticed that the turkey forum is year round now !!!!! Remember when it would shut down around June and start back in February. Nice to see us bird chasers getting some attention !!!!

As I was sitting in my treestand Sunday morning a Tom warmed the cold Decmber air with 4 beautiful gobbles from the roost and then one more when he hit the ground.Music to my ears!

Man you got me! I was like DANG JODY, WHERE YOU BEEN? Anyone seen Jody lately? I sure think about it all year long. Even though I was really frustrated the other day and beginning to second guess my love for chasing these birds, they reminded me why. That sound of a gobble sweeping through the woods is like no other sound.
