I have looked into that, I have done further before in this setup. I am not saying in going that far to fish, just if I make it all the way up there I can see how it looks for this rig.

Just wondering how far you made it on the trolling motors.

Just wondering how far you made it on the trolling motors.

I carry two batteries, one size 31 for upriver and a 27 for back downriver, if needed. If I go after work I'm good for several 3-4 miles up and then back down with the big battery. An all day trip will take both batteries, I could probably go close to 10 miles up but I've never had to go anywhere near that distance to limit out. I have done an overnight trip 15 miles down on one battery.
