Yeah I guess, all the stuff about his daddy and fire and not being able to see his face seemed like they were saying “Look how artsy we are. Isnt this so clever? We make movies for people who get it.” Whatever. Just tell me a story. I’ll go read for the esoteric stuff. Maybe.The part about God coming into his life was definitely corny. I always figured the old man was saying what the movie spent a few hours trying to say......the bad in people had outmatched the good in the Sherriff. "What you got ain't nuttin new.....", or, "no country for old men." I don't like being preached at by movies at all, and appreciated that they were indifferent to the moral of the story, just kinda tellin' whut it was.
Yeah I’m at a point in my life where I don’t care for dark stuff. I hate modern TV shows for that reason. Could not care less about watching Yallerstone.I can't believe that. This should be remedied. Not sure if you would like it, but I think it's worth it to see.
