Wednesday Gumbo

Wife's made it a few times but my first attempt. Gonna be different.

Chicken seasoned up
May have overcooked the sausage but it and the chicken taste good.
Sea trout. Only 1 I caught slot size on Saturday.

Cajun Trinity plus jalapeños (yeah I've got a jalapeño problem) spices, garlic, and chicken broth.

Got that in crockpot for a bit. I'll add chicken and sausage in a bit. Not sure how to do with fish. May be a mistake. Might talk myself out of it. Thoughts?

I would put skrimp in and then fry or blacken those 2 pretty filets

Gumbo here tonight as well…….. leftover roast chicken from which a stock was made for the gumbo, crawfish tails, and some okra. Topped with flash fried arugula
