Almost looks like a wild blueberry and the other idk maybe a crab apple or something. Do deer eat these???

2nd and 3rd pick are Hawthorne apples or Hawapples. 1st pick not sure but maybe Gooseberries. Deer eat the heck out of Hawapples and they are usually falling about now.

Jusat don't ask me the species of hawthorn, that's something that botanists and taxonomists argue over. :) I'd guess Crataegus spathulata, but that is just an educated guess. Hawthorn ID is a booger.

Yep, hawthorns are tough. I defer them to my friend Ron Lance who literally wrote the book on them.
