I doubt Chevrolet will want to brag about a truck that had to have a new tranny at 99k, and a new motor.

I agree, working with Ford it was not uncommon to see escort vehicles and such like that with that many miles. At my current job we have over 10 E-350 vans with 400K plus on original engines and transmissions. All from just a normal maintenance program that I started 4 years ago. Sell the truck if you don't need it but at the end of the day it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!!

Find out if they would like to do a commercial with the truck (like the Volvo guy who had a million miles on his P1800) maybe they will give you a new truck.

I tried a couple of the used vehicle calculators and they capped the mileage at 400k which was a 3700 hit to the base.

If you have time in your travels, take it to one of those big used car chains that offers to buy your car on the spot, it's either car max or auto nation I forget which one advertises that service. Take whatever they offer you and add a grand or two for private sale.

Take in to CarMax and let them make you an offer. They will write a check for it that day.
I would think putting it on craigslist for around 7k (as long as it's pretty straight/running/driving good). A truck with 100k like it is around 12k-16k.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a new one- kinda hard to walk away from the old one though. Ended up getting 5K in trade.

At least you got a new truck. Likely, really got nothing for your truck, it will go to auction or scrap yard. I did it in 1990 when I bought my last new truck. I GAVE them a perfectly good Toyota 4x4, and regretted it the moment I signed the papers. Nice looking truck, enjoy.
