So my daughter shot at this buck the last Friday afternoon. He was standing next to this tree when she shot. She pulled her shot and hit the tree. The bullet went through the side of the tree and there was a loud cracking noise after the shot that I had never heard before. He showed up the next day missing his right antler. What's the chances the bullet went through the side of tree and knocked of his antler and that was the cracking sound we heard? I went back and looked but did not find the antler.
