When to add Borax to clover

Borax kills clover, do you mean boron?
The 20 mule team borax detergent. Somone said it helps the clover.

Most people use borax as a weed killer, throwing a box of borax in with fertilizer doesn't do much you'd be better off with liquid boron.

If you need boron go buy a 2.5 gallon jug of 10% liquid boron

So if my soil sample says I need 10lbs per acre how much spray will I use per acre.

Think you missed a decimal, should be a pound, a gallon to the acre.

That's the soil rate if the clover is up you'd need to split the application into 2qt applications.

Be careful with boron, had to use some for a deficiency growing broccoli. Soil test recommendations warned easy does it...too much would be toxic to the broccoli..so its just a trace element...don't overdo it! If necessary do a soil test with the boron test option, then follow recommendation!

We need @doomtrpr_z71 again but I am thinking you can take the soil sample to the mill and they can make you what you need.
It would be like me to miss something like that and make it harder than it really is.

It's going to be easiest to get liquid, it's cheap that way and a ton of it gets put on cotton and peanuts. Or they'll try to sell you aspire in dry form which is way overkill on a food plot.
