Why I love flea markets,,,,

Went to our local flea market yesterday and stumbled across this Orvis DXR. I went to pick it up and the spool came out of the frame. Seller points out that is is missing the retainer. I look it over and is in super condition otherwise,, with a case and see multiple packets in the case. I ask how much and he says $10. That's a no-brainer for sure. Even if I can't find an original replacement retainer, I can certainly get an e-clip or similar to make it usable. Get it home and inside is several flies and a repair receipt from 2004. By the sticker prices I count near $12 in flies alone.

Pretty cool stuff in my book.

Plus, if that's a decent fly line on there, that's anywhere from $50-$100 worth. Nice find!
