Wife's Zone 8 Gator

My wife closed out her first gator season with this nice little 9 footer in Zone 8. We had some bigger ones on our hit list that we have been seeing all summer in our fishing holes around St. Catherines and Ossabaw but most of them went ghost when the season came in. We were 100% DIY and made it a family affair. I even made her a spear to kill him with. We had a lot of fun during the season, caught some smaller ones that were released, hung some more that broke us off. We learned a lot about hunting lizards that we can use next year. There's definitely no shortage of them on the Georgia Coast.
