Working on 2019 Texas Quail Hunt

I am looking for information on quail hunting in Texas. Me and three friends are planning a quail hunting trip in early November. If anyone here has been quail hunting in Texas I would appreciate any information you wish to share.

Public land or guided? Hope for a wet May & June, a guide told me last year in S TX he moved 35 Coveys a day, this year after a bad summer drought, said 3 Coveys was a good day.
