Had some family that did a project like this last winter. They had no problem selling any of the material. I think they put most of it on Facebook Marketplace.

It looks like a more industrial tin than standing seam or whatever it's called. There is a market for that and the lumber for sheds and shops if nothing else.
A friend of mine built a workshop/garage using old tin. You could look up and see the sun light through a lot of holes. He said it would have to rain really hard to just get a little leakage inside.
