Besides Georgia and if money wasn’t an issue, where would you live ?

If money were no object, I'd buy a 2000 acre ranch in the heart of the Texas Hill Country north of Brady/Mason. Deer everywhere and beautiful views.

I'm partial to NW GA, so likely will always have at least home base here somewhere. If money were no object, I'd have a place around Jackson WY, a cabin somewhere around Grand Lake Maine, and a place somewhere in the FL keys and a private jet to get me quickly to any of them.......

I’d move to northern Missouri or southern Iowa where there are few people and a bunch of flat farm land. Plenty of ducks, big deer and turkey, all three are my favorite things to hunt. They seem to have some Mayberry towns still left to live near. I’d be there now if it wasn’t for my close family being here.

I’d never return to Georgia for the rest of my life and I would never lay eyes on the ocean or beach again. There are too many people in this state and it’s miserable hot for about 10 months out of the year, two things I can’t stand. And the beach just sucks!

I ain't so sure I could make myself move from my home here in Washington county. If I had to I would like to spend some time in and around moffat county Colorado, Arctic National wildlife refuge, and fishing on the coast

The only liberal government in western NC is the city of Asheville, which is a tiny fraction of the region, populated with people from somewhere else. All of western NC except for Asheville is extremely conservative.

I would be more worried about the idjits over Raleigh/Durham way.

Ashville/Buncombe county can only affect stuff in their geopolitical limits. Raleigh can screw the whole state

Where ever my wife wants to go as long as I can take my boat and it has fishable water. Any where that's not gun friendly isn't an option.

There's really two places and I would have a hard time deciding which one,,,Western NC (eastern TN)or Eastern NC (near the Pamlico sound),specifically near Bath NC,,,,

Yep. Luckily, the state legislature is now controlled by Republicans, who have been doing a good job for the last several years after they finally broke over a hundred years of Democrat control. Both our senators are Republicans, along with the majority of our representatives in Congress. Now, if we could get rid of this idiot governor, we would be ok. The legislature pretty much has him hamstrung so that he can't do anything. Our main problem is people moving in from other places to our urban areas, just like Georgia.

Sounds just like what another Brother on here just went through... moving from where he grew up to M.O.N. West Virginia where his wife's family lives.

Looks like we are going house shopping in Palm Coast Fl. this weekend. Going to spend the rest of my days chasing back country redfish, driving out on the beach and chunkin the long rods for whatever and hanging out at our farm in Alabama during hunting season.
Looks like the last of the pieces are going to fall into place.
