Definitely has the colors of a lion, but that head ain't no cat. The head shape reminds me of a bull terrier. If you look at it just right, it looks like a dog head. But then you look again and it looks deformed. Lightning really plays tricks on our eyes.

Looks to me like the right back leg is back, parallel with the tail making the tail look much fatter than it is.
