You really can't go wrong with quality knives. They just make great gifts. Useful to almost anybody and will be forever. They are constantly coming out with limited runs and special editions that make your present exclusive. You don't have to break the bank to get something nice. Knives are where its at. My wife knows I'm really picky about outdoor gear but she knows if she gets me something with a spider or butterfly on it, I'll get excited
