I’m taking my girlfriend and her kids down this weekend to fish off the pier. Is the bait shop open now during the weekends?

It's open, may or may not have live bait though, plan accordingly.

Thanks for the heads up. Sure hope they have live bait though cause I’m not good at catching my own. Lol

If you're looking for fiddle crabs, they are easy to get. On low tide, throw some raw meat in the marsh mud. In a few minutes, there will be fiddler crabs all over it.
Or, throw a cast net into a small creek or into the ocean for small fish

Everywhere is hit or miss right now it’s a “transition” time where the browns aren’t big enough yet (someone correct me if I’m wrong) I’ve checked every place in Glynn county a couple days last week no one had any. Found some up in Darien at two way Tuesday. Yesterday we were the last people to get any at Jones and that was at 6:20am.
