Cold pushed ducks out

Went to Guntersville this past weekend and didn’t see many birds at all. I was skeptical about it as we had a great cold front come through. Anyone else going through this as well? Don’t waste your time going to Guntersville.

I’ve had my numbers decrease with each cold front. I have picked up a few mallards, I’ll take 10 mallards over 100 wood ducks any day. I will never waste my time going to the big g again. If I’m traveling to hunt I’m going further west to the delta or even further to the central flyway.

Anecdotal info, but the ponds on my wife's family farm in central FL had a mixed bag of 12 to 15 ducks, woodies, teal and whistling ducks, hanging around up until mid January.

Last weekend I saw 60 or 70 ducks on these same ponds, I guess it cold up Nort'.
