Same spot I was at the morning, wind is about half what it was this morning. I’ll be happy just seeing one.
I’m in Heard. On the ground this evening. Sitting a mowed trail through a small patch of cutover. Buck the other evening cut this way instead of towards where I have a stand about 75 yards away. Hoping one decides to do the same this evening. It will be up close and quick if it happens.

I know where there's some ducks in Wilkes Countybut I don't know anybody with retrieving dogs.

Heard a bunch of commotion over the hill from me. Not sure if it was spooked deer or a chase, but it was deer (or hogs) for sure.

Came out a bit early saw something on the way in I needed to do. Just saw the one buck.

Ended up seeing 2 does. Could have easily killed them, but didn’t want to drag a doe up that hill between me and the truck. 
Guess I found one.

That really is a cull buck. Has a little bit of horn. Not much. Believe it is older but only was around the 140 in size. Weight. The doe was bigger it seemed. It the buck was a runt.
It was a tad back. Georgia cleaned it.

Never did.. couldn’t get a dog to come out . Everyone was working or out of town.. I hate it.
