I'm live from a box blind on a Talbot County clear cut. Not where I wanted to sit but the timber co is thinning the pines where I'd like to be. At least this box will keep me dry if the rain ever shows.

Rain has moved out and I’m back where I was this morning. 4 ridges run together right here so this should be a good spot for a chasing or cruising buck. Heavy trail on the ridge I’m facing, which is what that buck this morning was traveling.

Just got settled at my blind in Talbot. He was in here before shooting light this am I’m pretty sure he’s close.

Heard some limbs break in a draw to my left. A doe come busting up out of there and stopped on the ridge top about 90 yards away. She took off again and a buck was on her tail. Couldn’t make out much. Too thick. Maybe they will swing back through a little closer.
