[Baroque Brass]

The .22 CM is a wildcat cartridge made from a necked down 6.5 CM to .224, first introduced in 2013. I don’t have a need for one, but it’s made for interesting reading. It launches a long, sleek, high BC 80 gr round at about 3500 fps, with excellent ballistics and good down range energy. Hornady and a few others are making ammo for it, I don’t know of any rifle manufacturers offering the chambering. I think currently it’s a custom built rifle. I saw video of deer being shot with it and they were DRT.

At least barrels are easy to change in an ar compared to most bolt guns.

Expensive ammo, if I need to shoot that far I’ve got other options. They’re not as cool of course!
