A Brave that needs to be honored.

Because someone needs to honor Chief Noc-A-Homa. Levi Walker was a fixture.

To all you Braves fans you can thank me for their win. The parts of 2 games I watched this year (NLCS) they lost. Last night I watched the mullets drum the hound dogs.3F252B3E-8A3B-4889-AE6D-5D29794C6646.jpegFFA465E4-EEA0-4A30-8E38-18D8C397BB69.jpegB9010F6D-4C60-4F41-8C3B-68ED5ADD581F.jpeg0E911C5F-AC46-45B4-98A8-38A4E79E41AD.jpeg2BA6ED94-B59C-4353-B2AB-3B9E0D37E34E.jpeg37474A33-19D2-42C7-96B1-114376C0F71B.jpegBDCDD770-3B43-4F3B-B3A1-66EAC193CE2E.jpeg

What about remembering the game of baseball before "Woke" happened?

He spoke at one of Rockdale County’s opening ceremonies for the little baseball in either 83 or 84. One of many Great childhood memories!

Chief was a great guy and he loved having kids and fans come by and see him.

Dude was also a bad drunk LOL. I actually took drunk with him twice outside of the Braves.
I wonder if the Chief felt exploited at his job? ?

I am pretty positive he went on record saying he wasn’t offended by the name of the team. He did, however, convince the Braves in the beginning that IF they were going to have an Indian mascot it would look better to have an actual Indian and not the young white dude who was doing the job prior to his being hired. He wasn’t completely on board with seeking redress based on race. If you got it use it I guess but I’d bet at the time the young white guy who lost the gig probably has a different point of view.

I took drunk twice with the Chief. He enjoyed the brown water and would sit in Fitzgerald’s and drink anything fans would buy. He was hilarious and a great story teller. Just a good dude. Woman LOVED him LOL. He was a celebrity around town in the late 70s and early 80s.
