Not saying it's the best way / definitive way to determine value, but completed sales on ebay show two I think to be the same vintage selling for $45 to $60.
If you look at all 5500c models in general, lots more variation in price though the high-dollar items look to be mint/like new condition and still in their original boxes.
If you use ebay to check prices, always best to check the completed/sold listings to see what prices actually were paid for items versus looking at active item asking prices, as active items are often bid down or just never purchased.

Not sure on value. But I have some of my Pawpaws old Abu reels. Will have to get them out. Also have some of his old wood crank baits.
