Settin' on the back porch with coffee this morning, waiting on the mama and five young turkeys I've been feeding to come thru...

Dang if a coyote don't pop out of the woods and start sniffin' around..

No WAY I'm gonna get inside and get the gun, and get a shot before the thing vamooses, but I did...

Grabbed up the cheapo .350L AR that's always at the ready, and snuck out the man cave door...

STILL THERE!

So I propped up on the corner of the house, and let one go...

SUCCESS!



113 steps, from the carcass to the corner of the house...



Interestingly, she'd left a couple toes in a trap somewhere. Completely healed, and not bothering her a bit, apparently.



Don't think she pulled outta one of my traps, I ain't never found no toes...lol

In any case, she's DONE.

And I'm having a celebratory third cup of coffee..
