Anyone clicker training a pointer?

We just picked up our new setter pup. I decided to give this clicker thing a shot, mainly because I’ve got three kids and hoping to have better consistency around the house.

Standing stone kennel had some stuff on YouTube that got me interested.

I followed the Standing Stone Kennels clicker method with our new lab. It worked out very well us. She's 2.5 now and I've gotten away from the clicker but she still listens to all the commands and is house trained very well.

I’ve read a fair amount a clicker training retrievers. I did the lead up work when my wirehair was a puppy to get her to receive to hand but I never stretched it on out with a clicker. Other than rewarding a dog for retrieving work I’m not sure what you would use it for on the pointing side. I would be interested in finding out.
