learned some'thin today : filet mignon is just a cross-cut from beef tenderloin.

i bought from both ingles and kroger back during the spring sale. ingles were much better quality imo.....

I may have to check this out .
Ingles has had t bones and porterhouse on sale recently and we stocked up.
It was cheaper than buying ground chuck or pork chops lately .

I loaded up at Winn Dixie a few weeks ago I think they were $8.99 lb we don't eat much beef steak anymore but when I do it's a rib eye or filet

Never been in an ingles. Must not be any in south ga. Heck even the Kroger is a hour away. Im not to far away from @Nicodemus as the crow flys. I did cherry pick these 2 from the 3 that was left.
