I finally found a school that was actually hungry! The last couple of weeks they have been finicky for me. Bass were on fire, but not gills.
I happened to spot this school hanging around a big submerged tree on the edge of pretty deep water and figured it was worth a minute to check their mood - which turned out to be hungry & aggressive!
I caught them all in about five or six feet of water about ten feet from the bank. I filled up the eight fish capacity metal stringer in record time! I'm going back maybe Tuesday for another try.
