Good evening gentlemen, are these short rubber ankle boots comfortable??
Do they allow your feet to breathe??
If you have a pair, please let me know how you like them and which ones you have, sounds like a good idea for throwing the cast net

...just joking, seriously.
My XtraTuf are like bedroom slippers!
I did change the bottom pads out to some that where slick on top to facilitate steppin into em like slippers.
Being waterproof rubber the onlly way your feet breathe is around the ankle. I wear ankle high socks when it's warm, but i bought them for keeping my feet dry for cool weather fishing. Wool socks do great.
I can wear them for a majority of a day when I don't really need to...

From 'random cell phone pics' a few days ago...

I have two pairs of grundens for my rainy/cold fishing. I like them. They may be slightly heavier than other brands but I’m just assuming as I’ve never tried the others on. I am a big fan of ankle boots now for certain applications.

I just got a pair of BOGS, i wasnt paying what some of the fishing boots cost. The Bogs are made more for work but they are comfortable, dry and warm. Midway had them on sale.
