Clearfield Sunflower Plates

Planting about 10 acres in clearfield sunflowers this year and I am looking to get my spacing about 8 - 12 inches apart. I will be using a John Deere 71. What plates work the best for clearfields?

Depends which size seed you end up with

I’ll try to look at what I used tomorrow. They’re still in the 71. It worked great whatever it was! Made a great field.

Nope I have vacuum planters, that's the size plate for a size 2

Yellow plates with a backing spacer. Used them a heap before I got vacumn planters., B 40 for small seed, need backing plate there as well. These were for 7100 planters, I believe they are the same.
