Son has a CRF150F, apparently the rear shock blew out yesterday while he was riding. Looked online, you can buy just the spring or the whole spring/shock assembly, but I do not see where one can buy just the shock. Any ideas?

Some/most new ones are rebuildable. Just need a kit. Might try thumper talk or rocky mtn atv for videos. Pretty simple. Honda may claim it's non-rebuildable but most are. Just need a little oil and a seal kit.

Partzilla.com. If they don't have it, nobody does. You didn't mention what year. Just for giggles, I plugged in a 2018 CRF150A and the exploded diagram does show a damper only. They also show the parts needed to rebuild the existing damper like Dbender mentioned.

Just go to thumper talk or google rear shock seal kit for crf150. Step by step instructions with pics and seal kit part numbers. I don't know how to link stuff but everything you need to know is there.

Decided to just purchase the whole new shock assembly, thanks for the info

Now you can take the old one apart. Nothing to lose and you'll have a backup.
