Our local 3D shoots have what they call a "smoker" pot.. you can put in $2.00 and $1.00 goes to the morning pot and $1.00 to the afternoon pot.. What they do is draw 4 targets at random for both the morning and afternoon shoot.. who ever has the best score of those 4 targets wins the pot..
I have been lucky enough to win the "smoker" in 2 of the 3 shoots i've done.. not a lot of money but covers the entry fee, lunch, gas and still some leftover.. Usually the pot is $20-$50 depending on the amount of people entered.
