When I left the house this morning, Weather Channel said 15% chance of rain.
Now it says 100%

We were outside yesterday afternoon with blue skies. Big thunder in the distance. Jackson county was getting hammered as usual.

I saw that little cloud on the radar. Went North of Jefferson.

I was hoping that big yellow blob that passed east of Jefferson would water in the pea plot I sowed Wednesday on my place.
But my brother confirmed all we got there was a dust settler shower.

Large pilatead woodpecker working on stump in the backyard. Biggest I’ve seen in awhile. Wife was looking out the window asking what it was, saying it was the size of a chicken. Pretty sight out there at work.
