Got the annual Santee trip coming up the first of May. I'm ready!

Perfect here. 56 slight breeze. The sun is out, birds are singing.

Yessir 52° and light breeze. However the wind is supposed to pick up significantly I believe.

Daggum pollen congestion had me up coughing in the wee hours last night.

I had to make up for it once it settled down and I slept like a rock.

Catfish. Buddy I go with loves to catch them.
I'd like to get on those shell crackers sometime.
I care nothing about eating catfish but they are fun to catch.

We will catch several hundred in 3 days.
3-15# or so. An occasional 30 lb.
The big fish aren't there like they used to be but we don't target them.
He'd rather catch 10 little ones than one big one.
He likes getting his arms jerked.

It's been a minute since I've had any fresh catfish, I can flat tear up some fried whole. Eat'em like corn on the cob...
