Good morning crew…….we remain parched in my part of the foothills. The sprinkler should kick on any minute. At least the bees are enjoying the flowers.

Morning Bow have you got any rain?
No but I will one day soon. It’s been eight weeks now since rain has fallen on my place. Rain all around me but for some reason it’s missing me. A friend that lives a mile from me has gotten three inches in the same time frame.

That ridge seems to affect my weather a lot as storms tend to veer to one side of me to the other. I’ll get rain when I am blessed with it. I do get the majority of my rain in the late winter early spring time periods.

The railroad that runs from Eatonton to Milledgeville runs atop that ridge then through Eatonton where the ridge turns towards Madison and beyond on 441.
Between Lake Sinclair and Madison there’s no creek crossed by the railroad or highway. Just giving an example on how land changes weather patterns that most people don’t notice anymore
