First Time Yaks

Finally got a chance to take my son out on his new Kayak that he got for Christmas. We put in at Ringer on West Point, big mistake. Ringer had way too much traffic from people who don’t respect no wake zones. We still had a great time even though we didn’t catch any fish and almost got swamped a few times.

Fish and less traffic would improve it but that’s a great thing sharing time on the water with your kid. Looks like fun to me.

Go down below the Dam and float the hooch, you will catch some fish and not have to worry about the boat traffic. Call GLL Outdoors for a shuttle if needed to return you and kayak to vehicle or shuttle you to a starting point. Welcome to a fun hobby/sport.
