Food plot screens

I know that it is good practice to put some sort of screen in your plots to judge how much the deer are eating the plots but Iv never done it. What do most of you use? Im talking about the 3ft round chicken wire or tomato screen looking things .

I’m no expert, never done one and not even crazy about plots, but looks pretty self explanatory to me. Few t post and whatever spare fencing or wire you have laying around. Looks like it can be accomplished without even going to a store. Most handy folks are gonna have enough of the material just laying around

I made mine out of an old tomato cage. I cut off the three prongs on the bottom of the cage and folded them in half to use as nails to hold it down. Wrapped it in chicken wire and sprayed painted it black(not necessary).

Yes, you can use rebar or t-posts to hold them in place, but yes, you need to secure them. Nothing fancy.
