Congrats Jake! Was that bird taken in Ga? If so, that is a true trophy indeed!

I miss hearing their drumming, especially in the spring when trout fishing or turkey hunting. When I hunted them years ago I could find them around clear cuts in really thick places and around spring heads, I didn't have a dog but still could find a few but rarely was I quick enough to even get a shot off.

Thanks. Yes it was in Georgia it was earned for sure, I put the miles in for it.

I thought we had a few more pointed the last two times I was out. Ended up being Woodcock every time.
