While there are a number I like, when it comes to greatest, in my mind it has to be "Saving Private Ryan".

Of course, I'm a retired military guy and both the presentation and premise mean a great deal to me.

Save for that movie, it would be "Gone With the Wind".

Years ago, I bought a prop sword off of ebay, listed as Ben Hur's sword. I rented the movie, and sat through 3 hours? of it. You know what I found out? Ben Hur didn't use a sword facepalm: It was from the movie though, likely carried by on of the nameless legion.
