But only when I'm mowing with the tractor and my dog is hot on a rat,if i hadn't stopped he'd have been a goner. He's a yeller brindle Mountain Cur,named Tiger with a fascination for squirrels and rats.

Had a friend with a dashound named Duke.
Lots of rat holes around the corn crib. Carry ol' Duke to a hole and say "Get 'im Duke!" Little dog would dig like a Ditch Witch! Move him from hole to hole just watch him dig. Don't know we ever caught a rat but turned up some ground!

Duke would be a better rototiller than one of those things on tv.

In the summer I can't tell y'all how many box turtles my lab brings home. He stays in practice through the winter by bringing huge rocks home. Out of all the dogs I have owned this one is the strangest!
