I'm Stuffed...

Batjack

Been a while since I made Jager-Schnizel, but this time I took pics.

Cut 4 - 3/4" chops off a pork loin.

100_3481.JPG

Started sweating the shroons and onions.

100_3482.JPG

Flour, egg wash, bread crumbs, and into the grease on medium heat.

100_3485.JPG

Cooked to 145 deg.

100_3487.JPG

Mixed 1 pint heavy cream and 1 packet of Maggi Jager-Sahne sauce mix into shroons and onions. Slowly heating to a low boil, stirring constantly.

100_3491.JPG

Diced a very tender chop and plated with crinkle cut fries.

100_3493.JPG

Covered with sauce / gravy... and I can't believe I ate the whole thing.

That looks good! What is the sauce mix exactly?
Maggi brand Jager-Sahne. Hunter's Sauce / Gravy. Can't find it in the U.S. (except on amazon), but several good German deli sites carry it. This is my version, supposed to pour gravy over chops in casserole dish and bake. But a very nice lady in Germany fixed it for me this way, and I never looked back.

...just joking, seriously.
Now that's real cooking.
I only know how to heat stuff up til it's done...
