Lab Lab and Soybeans

This probably a silly question - we are planting some lab lab and soybeans on some property in KY and we wondering if we were better to mix them together in the same plot or keep them separate. We are leaning towards mixing them just in case one of them does not produce - we will not have half a food plot.

What are your thoughts?

I would throw in 3 pounds per acre of Grain Sorghum so the Lab Lab will have something to climb.

Sunflowers would work too.

We have some corn from the NWTF seed program we are going to use for the Lab Lab to run on.
