It's been a couple years but the Lanier Striper Club has invited me back to speak at their club meeting next Tuesday evening at the old Hammonds store behind the new Hammonds Fishing Center.
I'll be chatting about targeting stripers with artificials over the next few months, including leadcore, downriggers, power reeling, spoons, topwater, swimbaits and a few other tactics and baits. Ill also be bringing some of my favorite fall baits for stripers to check out and purchase.
The club usually has some pretty good chow at these meetings and I think they are talking about grilling for this meeting. If you're going to eat and meet and greet, I believe that starts around 6pm and the meeting should start around 7pm. The meeting is an open meeting and there are a bunch of great knowledgeable striper fishermen in the club.
If you're interested in learning a little more about striper fishing and meeting some very knowledgeable fishermen, come on out and join us next week for the meeting.
