So I have a large clearcut with a 2.5 ac field on one side and a.75 ac field on the other. The larger one I have planted with a dove mix and plan to do so every year. So my question is what to plant on the other field? Year round clover. And. What to plant on the dove field from Sept to may? Wheat?

Plant the meat and taters combo, heavy on the crimson in your dove field. When the clover heads out, you'll be almost ready to plant your dove mix and you will get a lot of free nitrogen.

Plant the super clover combo in the other.

I haven't priced my fertilizer yet for this fall ..... I am too afraid. Free nitrogen is good ......
