What is a boating safety certificate? Is it sippose to be like the Hunter Safety Certificate?

Been running boats for 30+ years never heard of that one.

Yep. Not trying to be graphic…but it is very HARD to to lift a wet,200lb person up out of the water! Even a 100 lb person,unconscious…is tough! They are wet,the boat is bouncing,and it’s about impossible by yourself! A life jacket keeps them afloat,and gives you something to grab ahold of!
