Marlin Model 60

Got a Model 60 .22 I’ve had for 25-30 years. Recently had to change the recoil buffer. Now every time I shoot the bolts holds open, like the magazine is empty. I have to hit the bolt release after every shot. Any tips?

Basically what it asks is if you are absolutely certain you got it back together correctly.

Check the steps in the power point carefully.

Those aren't the simplest rifles to reassemble. Mostly likely it's just one little piece barely out of place.
