May the old be new again

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, working my two jobs has monopolized all of my free time.
I managed to set a little bit of time aside to get a new to me setup going.

I mated a set of Sage 60# limbs to a Bear Whitetail 2 riser, making a 64” recurve. It didn’t take much work to pair them up.
Last night, I installed a new 8125 string, tied a nock in, got the brace height at a good starting point, then sent a few arrows downrange. After making a few adjustments to the nock and brace height, and finding an arrow that shot well, I began to shoot some decent groups. Today was more of the same. One nock got sent to the promise land. This setup is showing some potential!
It’s good to be back in the saddle fellas!
