More Nostalgia Food

Made up some "mama-fried" backstraps last night. I call them that because that's how Mama always cooked them when I was growing up. It's also one of my absolute favorite ways to cook them.
I also made some Mama-style biscuits with Mama's biscuit cutter that I got out of the cabinet at the old homeplace last week. Fried up some Kennebec taters with bacon and onions.

This was absolutely the best meal I've eaten in a long, long time. And I usually eat pretty durn good.
