Muck boots question

I'm looking for a second pair of boots as all my ancient old boot inventory is wore out or doesn't fit anymore. Does anyone have the Muck Edgewater Classic? What is the temperature comfort range? I'm looking for something that is a pull on that is good down to 38-40 degrees and is relatively lightweight. I have a bad back and laces are difficult these days.

It is what I have. Best boots I have bought. They are comfortable, waterproof, and slip on easy. I don't have any issues in that temperature range. Any colder and I use hand warmers under my toes. I just academy is running a sale on them.

I was thinking about some slip on just yesterday.

About what price range are we talking about ?
I'm looking for strictly hunting boot and they won't be worn for work, chores or bumming around town.

Around a $100 at academy sports during the black Friday week sale. I think it is free shipping too.

Curiosity was killing me and it ain't but 5 minutes so I went and looked.

They (TS) only had the one kind of Muck and they were 179$ Heavy as can be.

One Georgia Boot with the rubber bottom. Heavy as can be.

The Itasca they had weren't very expensive but they looked to be very well made and good insulation. All the rubber pieces were seamless.
They were a LOT lighter than the other two.
Saw some different ones on the net that were 99$ around there.

I got a good pair but if I was looking, I'd look hard at those Itasca. 45$

Always liked muck boots but I’ve swapped to dryshod just because the muck boots seem to have gone way up on price. I just wear them during wet nasty weather.

I practically live in rubber boots, and my favorite is the Muck Woody Sport, I think it is...

Light, flexible, comfortable, and hold up well. Not very well insulated, and not very warm, but I wear them year round. Heavy wool socks when it's cold.

Briars will eventually wear thru the neoprene, but I get a couple years out of them usually, and I wear them a lot.

Nothing lasts like it should for the price anymore. But them cheaper boots dont last hardly at all. I wear muck boots all day every day and get a year. Maybe.

I watched an interesting comparison between Muck and Dryshod on Youtube, very interesting. How does the Dryshod do in cooler temps? I like the looks of them.

I’ve never had a problem with getting cold feet to bad and I never buy insulated boots so it’d be tough for me to comment. But I would think the insulated versions would be equivalent to others. They have a rubber “snake boot” too

I've got some cold weather boots that work just fine, I'm looking for something to wear early season. I'm going to go with the Dryshod Legend MXT Mid, thanks for your input!

Just bought a pair of the Dryshod MXT from the local Amish guy in NY while I hunting up here. $40 bucks cheaper than anywhere else.

My issue with Muck is that I left mine in the truck bed one sunny day, not even particularly hot but high skies and sun, and the sun melted every bit of glue in the boot and they fell to pieces.

My next rubber boots will be Le Chameau.

I have been wearing the same pair of Muck Wetlands for about six seasons and they get a lot of use between deer, hog and turkey hunting.
They are just now starting to show some cracking where the ankle flexes but not leaking.

They have been great and I am really sorry to hear the qualith has gone down.
I was looking towards a new pair. I will consider all the good info here and kep looking.

Love my Muck boots except for the sole coming off, last week was my second round of Gorilla glue, i've heard this is common with Muck.

I have muck insulated and wear them into single digits in Midwest.

No cold feet.

I love my muck boots. I just left Sam's Club and they have a brand called habit. They look and feel nearly identical to my muck boots. They are only $49.99 right now. They appear to be knockoffs, so I am not sure if they are as good or not.
