New handgun hunter!

I killed my only deer with a handgun many years ago. It was an open sighted Redhawk .41 mag back in 1986. I have decided to give her another try. This time with a Taurus M44. I really like this gun, but am not so sure about the sight I have on it. I may end up with a 2X scope. I'm gonna kill a hog with it on Monday if the stars align. What do you guys think?

It should work just fine.

I like the holo-sights, but I am not sure that that one will withstand the recoil from the .44. Then again, it might.

sweet I like it but only load 1 bullet so your like a single shot makes it more fun

I normally hunt with a longbow for the maximum "more fun" effect. I thought you could shoot those single shots 200 yards. Where's the fun in that?

I killed two grillin size hogs yesterday with my new rig. Did a great job. Not photo worthy, but those 40 pounders will cook up real good.
