Overalls for WOW's

A serious question for the WOW's:

If you wear/own overalls, what brand do you like best/prefer and why? Where do you purchase yours? I am trying to replace an old pair. I really do wear mine in the Fall and Winter a lot = I'd like to buy 2 new pair - but gosh I hate paying 50.00 each for new ones. Who has the best prices?

Do any of you ladies wear the men's brands in smaller sizes as an alternative? I used to do that with Duckhead clothing years ago...thanks, in advance, for any suggestions, ladies.

yep!

Thank you NOYDB! I had Googled and found what you did...but was curious as to which fit the ladies best. Can you believe it 400!!!! And to think I was griping about paying 50!!! I'm such a cheapskate!

Some denim is just so thickly woven it is hard to break in and have movement....probably I should just get Carhart
and be done with it.

Okay NOYDB, if I find some...I'm wearin' em to the next Mexifest Dinner and yer sittin' beside me!!!

Sarah, I personally like my granddaddy's favorite kind, Oshgosh, they break in easy & last forever! I can't remember how much I paid for the last ones, but it was around the $40-$50 mark, I'm sure, but worth it!

Hit the yard sales and thrift stores - Salvation Army stores, etc.

That's where most of my clothes come from, and my wife enjoys the "hunt!" I thank God for a wife whose idea of fun is bargain-huntin'. Well........there's other stuff,too,but...........:D You have to check the stores frequently, because the common sizes sell fast, but you'd be amazed at what folks donate for them to sell.:fine:

Sometimes you can find liberty's in a smaller size and I use to wear the heck outta them. Just wash em a couple times before wearing to break em in.

There's a thrift store in Riverdale that for some reason is always loaded with them. It's on GA85,It's also loaded with tons of books for a dollar apiece. My wife always takes me there when I have to go to my eye specialist. They usually run about $5 per pair. Worth the trip. They also have tons of Army camo, even the new digital pattern. I'm not a WOW either just my $.02
